Brooklyn Navy Yard lease not renewed for drone maker tied to Israeli security contracts: The city-owned Brooklyn Navy Yard declined to renew the lease of Easy Aerial, a drone manufacturer linked in reports to Israeli security contracts, ending its tenancy at the 300-acre industrial campus, Jewish News Syndicate reports.
Tourists are trashing the Brooklyn Bridge: A stroll along the Brooklyn Bridge found the metal latticework covered with plastic bags, napkins, hair ties, food wrappers and, apparently, any old trash the bridge’s visitors happened to have on hand. Someone even wrapped a pair of panties around the fence recently.
