THE LEDE: Good morning. It’s been a colorful and eye-catching part of Brooklyn’s waterfront skyline since 2014. But on Tuesday morning, Tom Fruin’s iconic stained glass artwork, “Watertower 3: R.V. Ingersoll,” disappeared, piece by piece, from its perch atop Brooklyn Bridge Park’s administrative building at 334 Furman St.
