The Lede: Good morning. A New York Police Department drone, which had been hovering near the FIFA World Cup Fan Zone in Brooklyn Bridge Park last week, crashed to the ground and caught fire.

  • Music, dance and stilts close out Montague Open Streets season: You had to look way up there on Sunday to see some of the musicians on Montague Street, when the Shinbone Alley Stilt Band paraded on stilts along the car-free street.

  • NYPD drone crashes, catches fire near FIFA World Cup Fan Zone in Brooklyn Bridge Park: According to the NYPD’s Public Information desk, officers were operating the drone above the park when the unit “had a malfunction and fell from an elevated position,” causing the lithium-ion battery to catch fire.

  • Brooklyn star-maker Clive Davis honored at funeral that draws Bruce Springsteen, Dionne Warwick: Kenny G played a mournful sax solo, Jennifer Hudson’s voice soared and Bruce Springsteen spoke glowingly at the funeral Monday for music legend Clive Davis, as pop royalty honored a man who championed so many of their careers.
