  • New Port Authority boss Kathryn Garcia to crack down on JFK cab scams: In December, the Port Authority announced it would invest $100 million into new technical solutions for stopping the airport’s scammers.

  • Brooklyn Dems re-endorse Hochul after 2 days: The Brooklyn Democratic Party on Friday re-extended its support to Gov. Kathy Hochul in her reelection bid, two days after an apparent falling-out over Hochul’s running-mate pick led the group to pull its endorsement, Spectrum News NY1 reports.
