Local voter engagement in NYC at 50-year high in 2025, says Campaign Finance Board: According to a Campaign Finance Board report, voter turnout in the general election, which elected Zohran Mamdani, was at 41.6% of registered voters — higher than it has been for the last 50 years. Voter registration was highest in Brooklyn, where 97.3% of eligible voters were registered.
