  • Grand jury indicts both suspects in fatal shooting of 7-month-old in Williamsburg: Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said prosecutors believe the infant was not the intended target. He added, “I am not prepared to say today definitively that the father was the target.”

  • Renovated Prospect Park sports field reopens: The restoration, made possible through $1.5 million in funding from Councilmember Rita Joseph, included replacing the turf, renovating pathways and installing accessible drinking fountains.
